Marbled Greens or not?

On Monday night I caught 3 clearly marked Marbled Greens plus these two.

I assume that they are both weakly marked Marbled Greens but, if so, I would have struggled with the one on the right in isolation.

There is also this Tortrix that I would welcome some help with.

  1. Your micro looks like Pammene fasciana, Andy

  3. I agree that the top pair must be oddly marked Marbled Greens. You seem to have cornered the market in them so it is no surprise that you should be seeing a bit of variation!

I'm not sure about the lower picture. To me the head and the impression of "chunkiness" suggest Cydia rather than Pammene so I think it might actually be Cydia splendana. Any idea of size? C.splendana would normally be the larger moth (although they can occasionally appear quite small).

    1. Marbled Green and Muslin Footman both seem to thrive here probably due to the old lichen covered stone walls in the vicinity. Unfortunately I did not measure the micro. I think it was on the smaller side.
