Checks - grateful for help

Looked like a Common Rustic to me but season wrong
Moths continue excellent here. May I just check on these IDs? Sorry, they're rather basic moths but I will struggle with them until I die.  Many thanks in anticipation.  Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon

Ingrailed Clay?
Small Square-spot?

  1. Hi Martin, yes to Sycamore, the second is a Rustic Shoulder-knot, while (believe it or not!) the other three are all the same species which is Small Square-spot.

  2. Fabulous Dave, many thanks as ever. Penny and I whizzed past Westcott on our way to my birthday treat (Ascott and a very nice pub in Cublington, the Unicorn. I find that pubs called The Unicorn are always good. There ought to be a Unicorn moth). All v best as ever M

  3. Will this do?
Schizura unicornis - Unicorn Caterpillar Moth

  4. What an amazing creature! If only we were in North America!
