Micros ...

I've got a couple of micros here I'm not sure about. (I have a few more, which I will try to photograph them, or retain for end-of-season ministrations...)

  1. Hi Dave, I think the top one is the ash-feeder Prays ruficeps. If you've retained it anyway then keep it for Peter who is still looking for reliable genitalia differences between ruficeps and fraxinella. The other may be Acleris cristana but looks rather too faded to be certain.

  2. Thanks Dave, I'll hang on to the Prays... I did think cristana for the second; I had a few fresh specimens of that species at the site.
