Agonopterix heracliana?

This little fellow turned up in the house over the weekend. I think it's Agonopterix heracliana.

Mark Griffiths, Garsington, Oxford.

  1. Looks the ticket Mark. There is a very close relative, Agonopterix ciliella which you can reliably identify by looking at the hindwing cilia, which shows 5 distinct lines or bands. Ciliella is also slightly chunkier and often with a pinkish tinge
